Aspiration: Arashi has entered the pomemon league as a trainer, though it is merely a secondary goal to pass the time. The real reason he is scouring the region is to find his lost mentor, but while he is traveling, he might as well collect badges also.

Appearance: The most striking feature upon first glance at Arashi is his bright blue silk scarf, which he is always seen wearing. When it was young it dragged on the ground as he ran around and now, although he has grown taller and it is now rather short compared to his height, the tip of it is worn and damaged. To match the signature scarf, a deep blue jecket wraps snuggly around his torso, complete with a gold-tinted zipper. His hair is long and dark borwn and color, draping neatly over one of his eyes; the other of his crystal blue eyes is uncovered and shines brightly. His canine teeth are long, jagged, and sharp so that when his mouth is in a closed position, one tooth juts awkwardly over his lower lip. A thin layer of facial hair coats his smooth jawline, a sign of his reaching puberty.

Biography: Arashi was an orphan who lived on the streets of Jubilife town for as long as he can remember. His mother had died through his birth, and his father when he was fairly young; no other known relatives stepped forward to take custody so he was cast out onto the streets as an unwanted child. A few years later, an expert trainer named Zabuza found the poor boy and took him under his wing to train him in the art of pokemon battles. zabuza even gave Arashi his first starting pokemon, an outgoing Squirtle. The two made their way to Twinleaf Town, where Zabuza abruptly vanished one night. Now Arashi's life goal is to search the region for clues about his missing mentor.

Personality: Arashi pumps himself up with the confidence that he can win each battle, when sometimes he simply does not possess the strength for victory. He is clumsy and impulsive, often acting out without thinking only to pay the consequences later on. When Arashi was younger, he always used to trip on his dangling scarf, and now that he is older he still has trouble staying on both feet. He trips and falls randomly and for no reason. But despite his flaws and tough past, Arashi is for the most part a cheerful individual; he tends to greet strangers with a smile and seems slightly hyperactive.
