Character Template

[u][b]Character's Name:[/b][/u] Make up a name for your character and put it here. Last names are now required because there is a five letter minimum to topic titles, and some first names may not fit the requirements for when a moderator adds your character sheet to the trainer list.
[u][b]Age:[/b][/u] Put the age of your character here. Most children begin their training as a Pokemon trainer at age 13.
[u][b]Gender:[/b][/u] Your character's gender, in the case that a moderator cannot tell by the character's name.
[u][b]Aspiration:[/b][/u] Does your character want to be a Pokemon champion, ranger, or coordinator? Please write at least one sentence of what goal your character wants to accomplish. This will affect the story of your character and whether they must collect ribbons or badges. You may also choose to join up with Team Galactic and create chaos in Sinnoh!
[u][b]Appearance:[/b][/u] Next give a brief description of what your character looks like, about one paragraph (5-7 sentences) in length. Make sure to include important details such as eye color, hair color, facial features, clothing, etc. In addition, you may also set your avatar as your appearance as most members have already done.

[u][b]Biography:[/b][/u] Give a small synopsis of your character's life up until the point where he/she begins role-playing. Tell how the character became interested in Pokemon and why they want to become a trainer. The history should be at least one paragraph long.

[u][b]Personality:[/b][/u] To complete your character's information, give one final paragraph about what your character acts like. Remember to make your character as life-like as possible and try not to be too vague with your description. Real people have deeper emotions than "likes to battle" or "hates everyone."


[u][b]Starter Pokemon:[/b][/u] Every beginning trainer will start out with a Pokemon given to them by the professor of the region they live in. You may select from any region's starter Pokemon: Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Totodile, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Mudkip, Treecko, Torchic, Piplup, Turtwig, and Chimchar. However I suggest choosing one of these so you are a unique trainer. All other Pokemon can be caught in the wild, but these cannot.
[u][b]Nickname:[/b][/u] Give your Pokemon a nickname if you desire. Feel free to make it as amazing and witty as possible, but please no offensive language. If you do not wish to give your Pokemon a nickname, just write "none."
[u][b]Level:[/b][/u] The level system is different from the game, and is structured on a scale of 1-10.  All starter Pokemon will begin at Level 1. Check the "Rules" section for level information.
[u][b]Gender:[/b][/u] Simply state the gender of your Pokemon. Starter Pokemon actually have a higher chance of being a male. However most of the other Pokemon are split evenly between genders.
[u][b]Nature:[/b][/u] Choose a nature for your Pokemon. This does not affect your Pokemon in any way except how it acts outside of battle, or in certain situations in battle too. For example, a bashful Pokemon would not endure an attack. Instead it would most likely try to dodge or run away. The twenty fives natures to choose from are: Adamant, Bashful, Bold, Brave, Calm, Careful, Docile, Gentle, Hardy, Hasty, Impish, Jolly, Lax, Lonely, Mild, Modest, Naive, Naughty, Quiet, Quirky, Rash, Relaxed, Sassy, Serious, and Timid.
[u][b]Moves:[/b][/u] Starter Pokemon may have two moves to begin with. The other moderators and I are currently developing a Pokedex with entries for all Pokemon. Check there first to see if the Pokemon you want is listed. If not, just give it any two fair moves. All starter Pokemon will start out with just two moves.
