Capture Template Empty

This is the template to use when you are in a battle with a wild pokemon and want to add it to your team. Copy this template and paste it into a new thread in the Pokemon Applications section so an admin may analyze your battle.

Number of Pokemon: First the mods and I need to know how many pokemon you own before this new pokemon is added to your team. The reason for this is a trainer may only have six pokemon at any one time. To add an additional pokemon, you must release one of your existing pokemon into the wild.
Pokemon Released: If the answer to the above question is six, then you must release an existing pokemon in order to acquire your new pokemon. List the pokemon that you are getting rid of here. If you currently have less than six pokemon, just leave this section blank.

Pokemon: Name the pokemon that you want to add to your team. Note that even if you are battling an evolution of a pokemon, it will start in your team as its most basic form. Therefore list the basic stage of the pokemon here.
Nickname: If you are giving the pokemon a nickname, ptype it here. If the pokemon will not have a nickname, simply write "none."
Level: The level follows the same rule as the evolution stage. All captured pokemon will start at level one, regardless of what the implied level is upon battling the pokemon.
Gender: Choose which gender your pokemon is. This characteristic does not affect any game mechanic, it is just a personal preference. Keep in mind that some pokemon may only be a single gender, but the majority of wild pokemon are evenly split between male and female.
Nature: Nature also does not affect any game mechanic. It is simply a description of the pokemon's personality. choose a single word from the list of these twenty five personalities: Adamant, Bashful, Bold, Brave, Calm, Careful, Docile, Gentle, Hardy, Hasty, Impish, Jolly, Lax, Lonely, Mild, Modest, Naive, Naughty, Quiet, Quirky, Rash, Relaxed, Sassy, serious, and Timid.
Moveset: Consult the Pokedex section to find out which moves the pokemon may learn at its starting level, which is level 1. You may choose up to three of these moves as your pokemon's starting moveset. If the pokemon you are capturing is not yet listed in the Pokdex, you may select any three fair moves, checking with a site such as serebii.net if needed.

Area Captured: Finally a mod must know where you performed the capture so that we know where to analyze the battle. Each battle is analyzed to check if you possess the skill level to control the pokemon that you are trying to capture. Consult the Capture Rules under the rules section for further information about capture analysis.
